Excellent reception/sound quality

I received this unit to replace an old radio under a cupboard because the one I had before didn't receive radio stations well. I chose this model because it has an external antenna cable and not an antenna hidden in the power cord. I really think it changed everything. After installing the unit, I secured the Boundary Wire along the back edge of my kitchen cabinet with rounded wire ties and lifted it up. This gives me excellent reception on my 7 favorite channels without any interference, in contrast to my old device. PROS: - As mentioned above, excellent radio reception. The device is small, thin and easy to install. Easy to use. The sound quality is above average. Decent bass response for such a small/slim device. Bluetooth works well and connection is easy. CONS: - The display is not visible when looking at it from top to bottom; You have to lean in to see what he's saying. If you're on the same level as him that's great, but unless you're 4ft or have really tall kitchen cabinets this won't happen. - You cannot scroll back and forth between the saved radio stations. Once you enter them, you can only scroll them in one direction. If you come by, you have to press the button through all 20 gifts (regardless of whether they have been saved or not) until they appear again. The setting is a little strange. If you press and hold the Tune button, it will quickly switch to the next station it finds and then stop. It's annoying when you try to dial a specific station. You have to hold a short but multiple/rapid press of the Tune + button to continuously increase the frequency without stopping at stations along the way to get to the one you want. NEUTRAL: - There is a small LED that you can turn on to illuminate the area under the radio, but it's too small to use. The device has the ability to hold two AA batteries for backup power in case the power goes out or you turn off the device. But all you lose is time. not your preinstalled stations, so I chose not to include batteries - I'd be more concerned that they would end up leaking and ruining the unit. In the event of a power failure, it is sufficient to simply reset the time. Overall Impression: Great radio at a great price. It has a few features, but delivers on the areas that matter most to me: reception and sound quality.
