Anyone who rides horses (and doesn't like helmets) should wear this hat! West view, helmet safety.

I love this hat! I already have a felt version but wanted one for summer rides. It fits a little smaller than a fedora, but it fits me perfectly. If you're on the larger side of the size scale for small, I'd go for medium.
