This charcoal gray seat cover is a perfect match for my sable Steelcase Leap V1 chair. After my cat threw up on the seat one night, I couldn't get the stain out on my own. I chose dark gray rather than beige for this cover because I prefer the contrast of two slightly different shades of brown. Good quality material, I like the pattern and texture. It doesn't feel overly rough, but has enough grip to prevent it from slipping over clothing on one side and the chair cushion on the other. The elastic at the bottom is strong and stays in place without the hassle of tying the straps together. The only drawback for me is that the dark gray looks a bit lighter when it's lying on the chair, which is probably caused by the raised diamond grid. The pattern flattens out as it stretches more, allowing more light to reflect off the surface of the material. So the larger the seat you stretch the cover onto, the lighter its color will be. Not a big deal, just something that confused me until I figured it out. One final note: I ordered the seat and back together, not considering that the Steelcase leap-back design precludes the use of a back cover that just slides off. gathered like a pillowcase all over the back and at the bottom. So the back cover was useless to me but I was able to get a refund and since my priority was to cover the stained seat anyway I am very happy with my purchase.
