There are no instructions or tips in the box. It only took a few tries, like a piece of a puzzle, and it makes perfect sense. They don't fit flat and perfectly together. However, the weight of the spice jars compensates for this discontinuity. TIP: I think it really needs a 3+ inch overlap to stabilize it and keep it from moving. TIP: Put something non-slip under the shelves.
