This sticky background cannot be applied to an already installed and running aquarium. I have 2 filter pumps that I removed from the back of the tank. My aquarium is about 12 inches from the wall. I think you need to apply this type of sticky background to a new aquarium before setting it up and before positioning it within 3-4 feet of any wall or object. I had the impression that it sticks to the background, but this background has such a strong adhesive power that it cannot be adjusted when applied. Then air pockets appear which are also impossible, I couldn't remove them and because it looked so horrible I decided to remove the background and oh my god it was almost impossible to remove it 🤦🏻‍♀️ Total disaster… .
