My elbow size is 7 3/4", which according to the size chart should be average. The sleeves are a little loose but comfortable and offer some warmth that relieves pain. But - I'm back online to order small ones the medium ones are loose enough to go down my arm and end at the wrists these are very well made cuffs - very comfortable and the compression is evenly distributed across the cuff I'm hypersensitive against chemical odors and these cuffs have no gas smell.
