This product is very effective against moths, house flies, fruit flies, mosquitoes and other pests. The product description says you can place it indoors, but I personally find it more effective for outdoor use. The ultraviolet black light glows an intense light blue when used. I put mine outside and heard it crackle all night. Whenever the bug is caught, bright electrical sparks fly out. It is very nice to see and hear how the device works: Zap! bang! hiss! Pop! Overall the product works as intended and the price is very reasonable.
