As with all grooming devices, you will need to train your pet for best results. This trimmer does make a humming noise when it cuts your pet’s hair/fur. If your pet isn’t use to noise or people holding their paws, this will be a challenge until they are used to it. I used positive enforcement (treats) for my leg after their grooming session. The paw trimmer is small and easy to hold and maneuver. I found the blade very sharp and it cuts thin hair fine. It did have issues with thicker hair/fur on my larger dog. Because of this cutting issues, I only used this trimmer on my pet’s paws and pads. My pet didn’t like me using it on his ears or eyes. I’m working my way up to those areas. There is a small UV light at the end of the trimmer that you can use to detect skin issues or pee stains on your carpet, bedding, etc. It is a good feature to have. There is also a LED light in front to illuminate the cutting area. The trimmer comes with a usb-c charging cord but no wall charger. It takes about 2-3 hours to fully charge the trimmer from zero to 100%. The charge did last through a 20-minute session with my pets. It doesn’t appear the trimmer’s blade or batteries are serviceable, so you will need to toss it away when the batteries don’t charge anymore or when the blades are too dull to cut hair. It also comes with a small blade cleaning brush. In conclusion, this is a good trimmer to use on your smaller pets. Although it has issues with cutting thicker hair on larger pets.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.
