Review on ๐Ÿ–ค Black Slim Rim License Plate Frame: Cruiser Accessories 21350 by Ryan Sandell

Looks good on classic cars with lots of chrome

Not much to say about the license plate bezel but this one is good. I wanted a nice chrome frame that didn't look thick and wouldn't cover up the registration decals like many other frames do. I glued two of these onto my '68 Pontiac Tempest. The rear panel is built into the huge chrome rear bumper and that panel frame looks great. The front fascia hangs under the chrome bumper/"nose" and complements the front fascia nicely with its rounded lines. This is just my opinion but I think these chrome frames look best on classic cars with chrome trim as they mimic the overall chrome of the car very nicely and look really natural. The subtle lines are unobtrusive and complement things like chrome drip liners, wheel arch liners and a trunk lid. For the quality is ok. It's cast metal and chrome-plated, so don't expect it to be aluminum or anything like that, but it's thick enough to do the job. Use some good stainless steel fasteners to complete it.

Pros
  • Bezel is approximately 1/4" wide and does not obscure state names or registration decals
Cons
  • Transparency
