Review on ๐ŸŒž MG1000-450W: High-Performance 12V RV Security Flood Light with Motion Sensor, Battery Monitoring and EMI Suppression by Robert Olguin

The rubber gasket is the biggest problem installing and holding in place.

This new light has just been installed. Summer heat/humidity made boarding the RV difficult. I had to drill four new holes for assembly, which wasn't a problem as I could only use one of the existing holes. It's easy to plug old holes and plug them with a new device. Just two wires, plus black and white minus. A crimped wire connector is included, but I decided to use a solderless wire connector while working on a ladder 10 inches off the ground. Inserting two screws to stabilize the light wasn't easy as gravity works against you. A magnetic screwdriver that will hold the screw in place works best. Now the negatives: the rubber gasket between the plastic lens and mount is a big bear (insert your word) to stay in place. Finally I used some silicone glue to hold it in place and attach the plastic lens. The previous light had motion sensors on the side but they fell apart after a few years so I went with this item. As soon as I go hiking again, I set the activation level, which is under the plastic lens.
