Description of 🌞 MG1000-450W: High-Performance 12V RV Security Flood Light with Motion Sensor, Battery Monitoring and EMI Suppression

NOTE: Please be sure the MG1000-450W fits the available mounting area on the side wall of your RV. The fixture size is 7.875” x 4.5” with a hole pattern of 4.563 x 1.875”. We do have an Adaptor Plate available for this fixture, Amazon ASIN B07TP3C852, that in most cases will allow mounting of this fixture without drilling new holes in the sidewall of your RV and cover any un-painted areas exposed after old fixture removal. Thank You. The MG1000-450W is a Motion Detection LED Sensor porch light with 150-degree detection radius and a range to 35'. Will help to deter theft and keep your RV safe and secure. When used as an entryway light, it can prevent accidental slips and falls and will Automatically shut off in the daytime when in Auto-Sensing Mode. Clear UV Stabilized Polycarbonate lens is fully gasketed to keep out moisture, dirt and bugs. Installs easily and has both my "Newer Polarity Guard System Design", so fixture is NOT Polarity Sensitive and my newer "INTELA-SENSOR", which signals an alert when the coach battery is LOW with Blinking RED LED. Is the ONLY HI OUTPUT FLOOD security Porch FIXTURE that is EMI SUPPRESSED so as to protect the electronics in the RV.

Better hire a 3 year old with a flashlight

Another Technical SNAFO! Who is the FOOL that designed the lens and the rubber seal behind it? To lock the lens, the 2 slots at the top and the middle slot at the bottom must be accessible. There is NO WAY to place this gasket WITHOUT "sticky materials" making it IMPOSSIBLE to remove to make adjustments behind the lens. So without easy access to the 'controls' I basically wasted my money and could have bought a van light with the same wattage for about 1/3 the cost. I live PROOF, EVERY DAY A…

Best motion sensor for vans

I wanted to upgrade my 2015 OEM Minnie Winnie RV courtesy light with motion sensor functionality. After researching different manufacturers and types of motion sensors available with and without power supply. I chose the MG1000-450W model based on; Features, user preferences, ease of installation, and return value. It definitely added an extra security measure for night-time motion detection and brightness. The white light actually shines 25 feet from the light source and has good visibility…

The rubber gasket is the biggest problem installing and holding in place.

This new light has just been installed. Summer heat/humidity made boarding the RV difficult. I had to drill four new holes for assembly, which wasn't a problem as I could only use one of the existing holes. It's easy to plug old holes and plug them with a new device. Just two wires, plus black and white minus. A crimped wire connector is included, but I decided to use a solderless wire connector while working on a ladder 10 inches off the ground. Inserting two screws to stabilize the light…

Not Terrible Not Great

Just installed this light on my RV. The good parts are mostly electronic beats - I think it's bright enough. 450 lumens isn't much by today's LED standards (and certainly dimmer than a vintage halogen motion-sensing headlight), but it will do the job of illuminating the side of a bus and deterring potential thieves. - Day/night mode and low battery alarm are intelligent design features. I like the slowly flashing light in night mode, which indicates an active car alarm. The bad parts relate to…
