Full Disclosure. I'm new to video recording technologies and methods. I bought this lamp for our church to record short (about 5-10 minutes) daily prayers by members of the leadership team. With the help of our pastor's son (who is a professional videographer) we selected this light and then found a way to position it to take advantage of the white ceilings in our "studio". By raising it close to the ceiling and rotating it to reflect off the ceiling, we get a nice diffused light that looks flattering on their faces and minimal reflections from those who wear glasses. Light certainly works well for us.
