I thought the reader itself was great as it supports many different types of cards but the included micro USB cable is too short for this one Product to be used easily on a desktop PC. In fact, the instructions say it won't work with any cable over 5.9 inches. This isn't realistic for anything other than a laptop or tablet, which is redundant as most laptops already have a built-in card reader. So this is an impractical design in my opinion. Unfortunately I will be looking for something more suitable for my desktop PC. TO UPDATE! I have to take back a lot of what I said above. I just plugged it into my long phone charger cable and it worked great! Not sure if it relates to the maximum length note in the instructions as it obviously works with a 3ft micro USB phone charging cable. So overall I'm happy that it will serve my needs on my desktop.
