I bought an Olympus DS-50 digital voice recorder to record my music rehearsals. That works great. You can hear your voice recorder through the built-in speaker. You can connect the device directly to your computer and record songs from your computer in real time. You can download files from the voice recorder to your computer. You can transfer files from your computer to your iPod. I don't know if ANTonline (via Revain) still offers it, but I received a 'package' with a remote record switch in my device, which is nice because the recordings don't have that annoying hand-shuffling sound. every time you press the record and stop buttons. It also comes with a protective carrying case that gives you access to all buttons except the power button. I recommend ordering the A-328 power supply (I also got it from ANTonline) if you don't have two AAA batteries handy.
