I wasn't expecting it to be that BIG let alone OVAL but it surprised me, it works fantastic! I like that the brush doesn't get hot like a curling iron, but a hair dryer brush. It has three Hi-Lo modes and air only, all of which are smooth and not super loud. I was wondering how the giant oval shape would work, but it does the job perfectly and my very fine hair didn't get tangled in the comb. That bothered me, but wasn't a problem. It smoothes the hair and prevents frizz. If you have very short hair this stock might be too big, ideal for shoulder length hair like mine or longer. Very impressed with this brush dryer. This gives you much more control, you no longer have to hold the blow dryer in one hand and the brush in the other, but have a free hand to fix and style your hair. It's also lightweight so your hand doesn't get tired. My fine hair held the comb very well and slipped through when I twisted it. The oval shape seems pointless, but somehow doesn't get tangled in your hair like a round brush. I really love this tool and was very unsure if I would even like it. We recommend.
