They work really well but it seems wasteful

My twins have super super thin hair. I can usually pull thin rubber bands off with my fingernail, but my husband has major problems. So I got this tool for him. It works exactly as described and avoids many painful moments between dad and twins. My only complaint is that the rubber bands are technically reusable and when I take them off we reuse them. However, when my husband uses this tool, they are cut and no longer used. So it's definitely a waste. But it does the job and there are no more tears between dad and the twins.
