This little tool is SO life saving! I have a little girl and little boys with thick hair. Disappointments and tears that used to flow when removing rubber bands are a thing of the past. This is one of those "luxury" hair items that I can't go without! I've recently started using them. after carefully removing my daughter's hair (or always accidentally trimming it with nail clippers or scissors) for 3 years. She does intricate hairstyles daily with lots of elastic bands to hide her natural mullet. so painful to remove. They are so effective and I have never accidentally cut her hair. really easy to trim small strands of hair. great alternative to nail clippers, but I honestly think I prefer nail clippers to the occasional trimming of my kids' strands of hair.

I've seen a lot of reviews of him pulling his hair out etc so I looked up how to remove the rubber bands on YouTube and thought I would share. It was a video of a woman taking a rat tail comb, wrapping it around a rubber band and using a razor blade similar to the product to remove the rubber band. I tried the same technique and twisted the hook from the hair between the comb and it worked fine. Everything went without problems!
