This is the BEST ever. My daughter cried every time I had to pull her hair out of the elastic. EVERY TIME. It doesn't matter what type I use, rubber, cloth, whatever. It would mess up her hair a bit, but her hair gets tangled easily so I have to keep it in ponytails. As long as you are careful with these things, you should never pull your hair out. I tried this on thicker tail holders and it STILL worked. I saw this as a recommended item on a YouTube video and the simplest of things really do save lives. Y'all know what I'm talking about lol
