I was skeptical after reading all the recent product reviews and advised my 12 year old not to use it. He still wanted to buy it and when it arrived the first thing he did was pocket it and whine when it didn't work. I said "I told you so" but then I asked him if he had read a manual or looked at a website on the internet. So 30 minutes of my time later we updated the firmware and connected the PS3 controller to its Nintendo Switch. If you want to connect it to a PS3, you need to view the PDF file for temporarily disabling device driver signing; it is downloaded along with the software connection tool.
