Review on Inkjet MFP Canon PIXMA MG2540S, color, A4 by Janis Riekstins ᠌

I bought a Canon Pixma MG2540S MFP as a gift, guided by the principle - CANON is always cool, it turned out to be a terrible bummer. My experience with similar equipment of this company in the cheap segment is about 15 years. 5 printers at home, with friends and at work. Previously, I was satisfied with the previous models ip-1600, ip 1800, ip 1900, which had excellent color printing quality for really little money. Having bought this MG2540S device, I was first unpleasantly surprised by the ugly small volume of the cartridge, which was later decided by buying Chinese ink cartridges of an increased volume. This model cuts any file when printing by two centimeters and cannot be removed in any way. There were glitches with scanning, but those were trifles. The icing on the cake was quite an ordinary event for other printers - the overflow of the so-called "diaper", a sponge for discarding waste ink. This problem is absolutely calmly solved on most printers programmatically, but here you need to bring it to the service so that they can unsolder and reflash a tiny EEROM chip. After weighing all the pros and cons - the Canon Pixma MG2540S MFP was broken into pieces and went into the trash (at least some satisfaction). Definitely do not recommend buying.
