Ideal for small to medium sized closets. It might be ok even for an occasional entry but we don't have any visitors so I can't tell. We put one of these in my daughter's 36" closet a few weeks ago and it continues to work great, so we put another one in a 72" closet in our master bedroom a week ago. It still works great there. There's no sensitivity adjustment, but it seems to work properly for the closet and trigger when you open the door or just start reaching inside the closet. Sensitivity didn't change at all, which another reviewer complained about. As others have mentioned it would have been nice to have a timer setting as it turns itself off after a minute or so, but most of the time that's all we need to get our clothes on. . The price is quite reasonable, so I think it's a fair compromise. Also agree with others that quarter inch screws are too short. Light boxes often do not fit perfectly on the ceiling or wall. We replaced another motion sensor light purchased from Revain with this one. The other was too sensitive and turned on every time you approached the toilet. This will not turn on until the cabinet is opened. Precisely!
