Review on πŸ” 20x50 Binoculars: High Power Compact Optics for Low Night Vision, Bird Watching, Hunting, Hiking, Traveling - Waterproof with Phone Adapter, Strap, and Case by David Hashman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I am extremely disappointed. The mounts that hold your eye lenses to focus are very thin.

Because the arms are fragile, they actually move up and down an eighth of an inch. So when you hold the binoculars to your eyes, they will automatically refocus. I spend more time refocusing instead of looking at what I was trying to see. Very disappointed that Revain put their main logo on this product as a beautiful element. For someone unable to use focusing with a single eyepiece, resetting the overall focus knob makes it impossible to see anything like a bird before it flies away. Overall they're bright and not bad at $50, but totally not worth it for a hobbyist or for kids if you're trying to get them a decent study and study set. You will never get the perfect picture. I thought it would be a decent scatter kit for me to take the boat, but I can't even get her to focus properly while sitting still in my chair. And I've been using binoculars for 30 years. If only this IPC mount were made out of a stronger material I would give them a higher rating. To be honest, I didn't even bother to wait until the night to see how Night Vision works. I am so frustrated focusing on them that I am immediately requesting a refund and ordering another product. And it was only 20 minutes that I had them. It's night now and I'm trying again. They are no different from my main 7x35. There's nothing special about their night vision claims.

Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
