I read that they are slightly big so I ordered a size down. I'm glad I did and the smaller size fit perfectly. They are soft and light. I only use them indoors so I can't comment on outside use. They are plenty warm for winter time and should be ok in the warmer months. They slip on fairly easy and stay on secure.
