Review on πŸ”ͺ Toolly Sharpening Double Sided Waterstone Flattening: Achieve Razor-Sharp Edges Effortlessly by Alberto Brewster

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Only a lot for a little.

Excellent packaging. I chose this sharpening stone mainly because it comes with a belt. I've always wanted to try one and the old leather slings I've used with mixed success pretty much compelled me to try a real sling to see how it would affect a regular pocket knife once sharpened on a rock became. I love knives, I love stones and I love sharp knives sharpened on stone. This fulfills all requirements with the added bonus of a sling. It comes with a beginner's guide to place on your knife to help you learn the correct angles to sharpen your blade. Luckily, being the male sharpener that I am, I don't need those things. (puffs up his chest and prides himself on feeling macho). But maybe it helps some newcomers to the Olympic sport of obsessively sharpening knives until you lose depth perception and accidentally drop your knives and they hit the ground but don't stop, so sharp that gravity pushes them down, unintentionally splintering. the world in half. It could happen. Believe me . There was no global warming before I stumbled and dropped my blade in 1983 I believe. In any case. This is a medium quality stone, water instead of grinding oil works well. The price is what puts it in the great category. For the price of horrible port freight, a pathetic stone excuse, you get a really decent water stone that wears off slowly and even comes with a leveling block which I've only gotten with much more expensive stones in the past. All in all a good deal and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Be careful. Don't split the world in half. I got a hefty fine for it. Probably even more now with inflation. Train hard and see you at the Olympics!
