UPDATE: After just a few days of wearing these things I noticed a lot of pilling which I think is related to the thinness of the fabric. They can still be worn, but obviously not for much longer. I only hand wash them in cold water; I thought they would hold up better so I'm a little disappointed and downgraded my rating from 5 to 3. As a sun cancer survivor, it's important for me to minimize exposure to those beautiful warm rays. But let's be realistic: long-sleeves can get hot and uncomfortable when temperatures rise. These sleeves are lightweight and damn comfortable. The colors are great too.
