Review on πŸ”§ High-Quality Carburetor Replacement for Makita BHX2500 BHX2500V Ruixing by Justin Woolley

Here is an adjustment screw. OEM Carburetor #

I have a model BHX2500 "CA" blower. "CA” means it meets California emissions standards. These standards require that a factory carburetor be tuned for optimal emissions, not optimal performance. And they also require the consumer not to be able to adjust the carburetor so once wear or deposits build up the blower performs poorly and there is nothing to be done other than cleaning/restoring the factory carburetor. And even if you fix it, it's just going to happen again. I love clean air, but in this case the technical characteristics negatively affect the reliability and durability of the machine. The solution is to get a retrofit carburetor like this one. The new carburetor was easy to install and connect. The fan started working right away and after a few adjustments, my fan now runs stronger than when it was new. A NOTICE. It comes with a new supply/return/filter hose assembly that attaches to the top of the fuel tank with a rubber grommet. The new socket has a different design than the factory socket. Due to the thickness of the fuel tank material I was unable to fit a new bushing and ended up using the original bushing with new hoses and filter.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Clear film
