My wife had a 360 rotating hard shell keyboard case for her iPad 5th Gen. You have seen them. It worked fine for about two years, but the hinge failed and eventually broke. I read many reviews and finally decided on this one with the help of my daughter. My wife immediately fell in love with the color and functionality of the keyboard. Definitely white. The keyboard is magnetic/detachable CONS: This color does not come with a pen holder. Look closely at the photos. Doesn't turn off the iPad when it's closed using the keyboard. All in all this is a great product. Disadvantages do not affect our use.
