Good tool for your money.

Metal not hard enough. The plastic centering cone is also too soft and wears out quickly. This did a good job for what I needed. Good tool for your money.

Quality Tool: Tools & Equipment

This tool works as it should. Just follow the included instructions and the bearings are easy to remove and install. The quality seems good too and should last a long time.

Works great: tools and gear

Sheath is cheap but the tool works great, make sure the bearing is fully seated on the edge of the tool or it will dent when using is hit. Warehouse. I've used it a few times and it's still working great after 2 years of use

Makes life easier! A must-have item for cam bushings.

Perfect fit for my Cummins 6BT cam bushing. Worth every penny and will last for years. From the moment I received the package to knocking out the old bushing and installing the new one, it literally took me 5 minutes! Mark the block where the oil hole is so the bushing can line up with it. oil hole.

  • Comfortable to use

Great tool in toolboxes

A review of a broken tool scared me to death but with how many deals there have been and I like doing the majority of my work myself rather than sending it to the machine shop I bit into the Bullet. I broke about 3 cam bearings trying to figure it out, but after that I figured it out with no problem. Plastic sleeve I'm not entirely sure if that helped. I broke 3 cam bearings with the alignment tool and I just gave up and held it by hand and it worked much better, maybe my block was deformed…

  • Durable finish
  • Unbelievable price

Great tool works well.

This tool worked well, a bit of a learning curve for a newbie like me. I would suggest buying an extra set of camshaft bearings if you haven't used these tools before I messed up a pair on the first try as I was just learning how to line up the oil holes in the bearings with the oil holes in the block. There is no flaw in the design of the tools, it's just that I don't have the experience. I'm glad I could do this in my garage and save myself the exorbitant fees charged by the local machine…

  • One year trial period
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Happy with the purchase!

I've been looking for a cam bearing tool for a long time but the price has always put me off. Every few months I'd keep checking to see if anyone had a deal and stumbled across Lyle's set here on Revain. One of the reviews I found online (can't remember if it was on Revain) said it was almost identical to the snap-on set he stole, just not as good on the finish and with a rougher finish. Looking at the pictures of the Snap-On Cam Bearing Tool, they pretty much come packaged in the same case…

If you need a quality camshaft bearing removal tool, buy this one.

Lisle Review Part #18000 I needed a camshaft bearing removal tool for an old Ford IDI diesel engine that I am rebuilding. I looked at Revain's various options and settled on the nameless manufacturers that had a lot of bad reviews. I decided to try this particular tool because of its name: Lisle. I'm just a lay mechanic and won't need any tools for everyday use for the next ten years, but I do need a decent quality tool to use for this repair and for any engines I plan to overhaul in the…
