Installing this light on my truck was easy, the wire connector plugs easily into the truck's wiring. The trim around the bracket is the only piece of chrome on the truck, it sticks out and makes the truck look a bit cheeky. Another great feature is the loading lights. It wasn't in the old assembly but now there is one that will definitely come in handy at night. At first I didn't notice the spacer for the light as it is black and the packaging material is black. It fell out of the box when I turned it over to look at the label on the box and the white backing stood up when it fell on the table. Now I don't have to worry about installing sealant because when it rains everything is attached and working as it should. Warning. Just be careful when attaching the unit to the roof panel with the soft gasket. Slowly turn the screws in, alternating side to side, tightening the screws each time. The trick is to keep the bracket flat on the roof panel as you drive in the screws. This will prevent the bracket from breaking in half if you tighten one side first and then try to tighten the other side. Work patiently, take your time and you will be satisfied with the end result.
