The only improvement might be making the phone case easier to open by making the inside edge higher, making it easy to find by touching and holding it open when you put your phone inside. Anything outside of this zippered compartment can be vulnerable to moisture, but at least it ends up in a high-visibility pocket that attaches to the boat or owner.
