My 7 month old loves to chew on bananas, grabs his perky ears and puts his hair (2 strips of cloth) in his mouth. She also likes to chew on a hook designed to allow her to hang from things (e.g. playmats, car seats). When you touch the monkey it makes sounds and when you press its stomach it makes music. It's very easy for my 7 month old daughter to interact with anything she likes, she keeps looking at us and smiling when there's noise. The sound can also be turned off. This is the best you have bought so far. This will also be a great gift.
