It was the perfect match. I found it very easy.
I bought this lamp for my ViewSonic PJD5533W which had a burned out bulb after years of use. He was a perfect fit. I felt it was very easy to change and my big screen was up and running again for movie night. The brightness is definitely better than the original before the failure, maybe better than the new one. I only gave 4 stars because I don't know if it will give me lasting performance.
