Great thin case, decent screen protection

The case itself is excellent. It fits well and is not bulky, but still offers good protection. Unfortunately I dropped my iPad twice (from a short distance, 1-3 feet) but there is no scratch on it. The body materials feel nice and solid and it's well worth the price you pay. The plastic isn't flimsy, nor does it feel cheap like some other cases. The plastic's slightly translucent and semi-matte finish is also pleasant to the touch, with the Apple logo showing through, but it still looks dark gray (almost black) at first glance. However, fingerprints are visible on the plastic. So far, after a few months of use, the leather case is holding up well. I like how the case covers most of the edges, including the corners. The volume buttons are also covered, but can still be pressed. However, the power button is not covered, so you can still use Touch ID. The edge where the cover connects to the body is not covered with plastic, leaving you with an open edge when using the device. There's also another open edge to store your Apple Pencil, but when you're not using the iPad it can be closed with a magnetic flap attached to the lid. I like this design compared to other cases that have a protruding physical slot that you can put a pencil in. This style looks much more elegant. Speaking of the lid, the magnet on this case is well placed and strong enough to hold the lid tab at the back when folded! It's great that the lid doesn't dangle when using the iPad. The lid's inner felt lining does attract some dust, but at least keeps your screen clean. As for the screen protector. It's really easy to install with the included mounting frame. The touchscreen is still very responsive and remains crystal clear and bright. It has withstood scratches well so far. However, I had problems with chipping around the edges of the screen protector. I've occasionally bumped the edges of my iPad against objects on the table while using it, and unfortunately the screen protector seems to have a tendency to chip on exposed edges that don't cover the plastic casing. Fortunately, the chips are very small and not very noticeable thanks to the iPad's bezel, and the iPad's screen itself was not damaged. I only have two chips so far, but I think I'll replace the screen protector over time as I get more.
