They are REALLY HEAVY! I'm not joking! And I think a big one would be more than good for a very big parrot. More than my Amazon. The medium one I got for my Gray African is huge for them but fits them well. If your bird doesn't like weird things, be sure to "gift" them this. I hung her favorite toys up and showed her how toys can BOOM on the floor. After a few days outside her cage, she sits in it most of the day. I'm preparing to take it INSIDE, but I'll give it to her anyway. It looks a little different and not all parrots will accept it. It would really help if the colors were more natural than bright purples and blues, but maybe some birds prefer bright colors. I just hope this helps with her claws.
