Review on Optimized Whirlpool WHEJL1 Central Filtration System with Enhanced Searchability by Shigg Bigbee

I purchased these replacements from Revain as the major hardware store did not stock them and I could not say when they would be available. My old filter was about 7 years old. We live in rural Missouri and use well water. I know it worked because the old manifold's inlet was painted reddish and the outlet was perfectly clean. I've done numerous water tests and we've never had a problem. I just replaced my old block as our water seemed a bit cloudy. I ordered this Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered by USPS on Saturday morning. I really didn't think that it would be delivered so quickly despite the shipping estimate. The only difficulty I had was the same as another reviewer doing the exchange: the old clips became brittle and difficult to remove. I ended up just snapping them off and using the ones from the new collector. I also got new o-rings and replaced the old ones in the manifold. For us it was a reliable knot so we used an identical replacement.
