I bought these pens to replace my tried and tested Staedtler Triplus fineliner pens that were getting on in years. They write just as well if not better than these and have the ability to change/mix colors which is a fun addition. Here are some of my observations: - I like the thicker body of these pens. - The caps on these pens are comically large to accommodate the color changing capabilities. They take some getting used to. Some of the colors supplied (24 packs) are unusable for writing. I'm sure they're great for drawing or coloring, but 7 out of 24 aren't great for taking notes, so I bought pens instead of markers. in a nice plastic box
