Everything works. I bought a Camecho RC 12v 24v car backup camera ($61.99) to use INSIDE my new 2017 horse trailer to see horses and at the same time I bought a Camecho license plate backup camera ($16.99), to see the hitch when it is engaged. my horse trailer. I installed it at the store ($300, hooray!). The monitor works with two cameras. One camera must be wired and the other can be wireless; You press the button to switch between cameras, see photos. The license plate camera is wired while the trailer camera is wireless. They are connected to running lights. The license plate camera is not connected to my truck's reversing lights as it would then only work when reversing. That way I can turn it on while driving or whenever I want. The horse trailer is 20 feet long and the camera is mounted above the tailgate. Thus, the distance to the monitor in the truck is about 35 feet. The monitor is very clear but my photos that I will upload do not show how clear it is. Installation: The mechanic (shopkeeper) said the source was quick couplers. all the problems and he didn't use quick couplers. He hooked it up (it took 3.5 hours to install but ended up having to do a lot of tweaking). He noted that when he connects the camera in the horse trailer to the running lights (see Getting the monitor to work when the truck isn't moving) it's not very good (see. But it worked and works with the headlights on with or without the truck moving I'm only going to use it when the truck is driving (when it's moving) so the truck is still on and giving the camera plenty of power Ball and hitch so hitch a horse trailer and when I unhitch the trailer I aim the camera just straight ahead to use it as a backup camera when driving a truck without a trailer.I've had it for 3 weeks now and it works fine..in his truck and stared at the monitor while the mechanic installed the camera in my horse trailer and he touched her and she went out and touched her again and everything was ok only once he touched it once and the color got more anyway i had to i hm telling when everything was ok and when not, and he installed it the way it worked (of course, but just to tell how the last part of the installation went). The monitor is colorful and clear. Sometimes when driving there is some kind of interference, static, but more often there is no noise. At night, the trailer's clearing camera shows both the inside and the daylight, and to be honest, since it's a closed horse trailer (with big windows with screens), the night vision function probably works during the day. At night the inside of the trailer is dark but the monitor shows the inside as if there is a light on inside - this works well. The instructions are not written in a way that can be understood very well due to poor English. But the mechanic looked at the circuit, and the wire part was made from his experience. So far everything has worked well and when I showed the monitor to some friends when I had horses in my trailer, every single one of them exclaimed how clear it was. (I also bought extra protection (e.g. insurance) but I hope everything continues to work well. It was great to see how the horses behaved during transport.
