This product works just as well as loose with no mess. I prefer this tablet to Free Flow. The packaging is difficult to open without scissors, but I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, that could be the reason. A tablet burns faster than a small free-flow glass, which also makes it more expensive. So depending on budget I will use both as needed. I only use it in one of my two bathrooms (the one with no window) with a range hood and it works well like all Damp Rids products.
