I was just looking for a simple side table next to my bed and it was a perfect fit. This is the perfect height for my rather low bed and fits in the small space between my bed and the wall. I'm a little concerned that my bed might slide and warp too much as it's not designed for heavy use at all. However, it looks great and gives me a spot to place my laptop while it charges, closer than my desk, which I never use. The fixed top gives my guests space for drinks/personal items. I'm happy with that. satin color matches the photos; although it is silver, it has a very warm silver tone and appears almost golden in the yellow light. My room has silver and gold accents so that's fine, but if you're looking for a pure silver piece, keep that in mind. Assembly was very easy and I had no problems if something didn't fit. (Note: You may need pliers and a screwdriver to tighten the nuts enough when attaching the two legs.)
