NON absorbent for kitchen and dining room

image above - classic beer bottle caps, great in this case. For the Detroit native, the straw logo brings back fond memories. The problem is that the picture waterproofs the entire surface and completely deprives the stand of its absorbent properties. I think I can use it for coffee and tea which tend to stain absorbent pods.
