I've tried other brands and my dogs just didn't feel comfortable or happy. You could see the worry in their faces. I have dogs that ride in my back seat. 50 pounds and 100 pounds. They don't slip or slide. You can easily keep your head out the window happily (I live in the country and drive slowly on dirt roads). The pillow is easy to clean. Easy to install/remove. The flaps that slide down the sides of the seats are very nice as I have to pick my big guy up so sometimes dirt and grime gets on the seats and tangles in an old style I didn't have. flaps on the side. So now he won't get his feet caught on the edge and he won't get confused. I also found this cover great for storing dirty things in the back seat. I buy "energy logs" for my wood stove. They are made from pressed wood chips. You make a mess. I can load them in the back seat, take them home and get them out of the car, then just pop the cover off, shake vigorously, put it back in, and the cleaning is done. I would only buy this to keep the back seat clean even if I didn't have dogs.
