Review on Xblue X16 Small Business Phone System 6 Line Digital Speakerphone (XB1670-00, Charcoal) by Monica Williams

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A week of happiness with Xblue X16 and now 6 months of misery.

I bought 2 Xblue X16 for my small office. The only flaw that wasn't clear when I bought it is that it requires the X16 server for all the cool features on the phones to work. So we also had to buy a server. Now that it's installed I like it. I didn't spend enough time with the user guide to learn how all the features work, but the features I know are easily accessible. Not being a huge techie, I desperately needed Xblue Networks tech support to help me set up the phones and server. You were wonderful. Patient and knowledgeable and VERY quick to call back if you leave a message, like within the hour! Outrageous! These phones have replaced the worst AT&T phones and I couldn't be happier. It's only been a week, but if this keeps up, if it's time to expand, Xblue will have my business. The phone can use up to 6 phone lines. The server supports up to 4 lines, so more requires an add-on. After 3-1/2 years my system had a short circuit which caused the connection to drop in the middle of a call and the wrong phone to ring (phone rings 1/). 2 times in 1 time and nobody is there. It wasn't a cheap system so I don't expect to buy new phones or PBXs every 3-4 years. Servers or phones? If it's phones, what phones are causing this? Problem?

Pros
  • X16 server supports up to (16) X16 phones and (6) external phone lines
Cons
  • Annoyed
