If you're new to inline skating (like me), install it in a doorway, not a wall. If necessary, you can put your shoulders/upper hand on the doorpost and make it more difficult to slip off. This helps if you have a smaller than average door frame. If the front wheel is spinning, pedal harder to straighten it. YouTube tips help! I've never fallen, but I would have fallen if I hadn't been hugged by the "walls" on both sides. I had to adjust the front roller for my "X-Small" 29" wheelbase MTB to the farthest slot. 1065mm, and that's not small at all. It's still pretty stable though, so I'm happy with that I also loosened the rollers with the two wrenches that came with it, as I assume the rollers are too tight from the factory. You need to hold wrenches on either side to adjust. If the roller clicks after adjustment, you've done it unevenly. More fun Mistake I made: I thought the plastic strap should go all the way to the rear pulley, so I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to remove it without taking it completely apart, then gave up and tied it to the side, got an extra plastic roll out of the box and made it my way only now realize I set it wrong still worked it's really solid if considering what I've done and how it folds/unfolds with regular use. I tested it on my regular tread tires while waiting for the right ones to arrive, so it's louder (sounds like an old-school treadmill with an added kick), but I don't have close neighbors that I drive 15-30 minutes could be annoying in one go.
