Review on Dorman 911-204 EGR Valve Upgrade by Michael Jenkins

Please be aware of defective parts supplied by this company

Item was defective on arrival and not all screws and gaskets were supplied as shown. The item looked like it had been used before and had been returned. However, I should have just sent the part back for inspection, which I didn't, making it a bad Sunday. I removed the old EGR valve which was a struggle with the bottom screw on the valve. I installed the Dorman part, plugged everything in, started the car and immediately the service light came on. The code was P0403. I thought maybe I did something wrong and looked around and made sure all the screws were tight. Everything is fine at my job. So I took the Dorman part off, reinstalled the old EGR valve and cleaned it thoroughly. An hour or two later they brought the old part back to me and the car started with no codes. I will never buy a Dorman part again and will stick with a brand name like Mopar when replacing parts.
