Reason for buying this motherboard is Thunderbolt. Other boards with the same features are cheaper or boards at the same price offer more features. This is positioned and sold for Thunderbolt. I bought it to share Thunderbolt resources between my laptop and desktop. Unfortunately I get NO video from the Thunderbolt port. Windows defines it as a non-plug and play monitor. Three different laptops including a surface book with a SI call all recognize and work fine with both setups I have. NOBODY. It looks like adding an extra transition from GPU to Displayport In is too much. Nice concept, materially broken making it unusable.
