These shoes are definitely at least 1/2 size smaller, tried 10.5 but were too small and have red marks on feet around big toe. 2 to try again** Update **Tried 11.5 but same problem - too narrow foot - had red spots on top of toe on foot - came back again and won't be ordering this style again. It's a shame - I really liked the look of the shoes
