I just screwed this sucker onto my table ha ha! Durable as is. Now it can rotate too! The entire mount is extremely durable and will hold just about any mic you can throw over it. I'm so glad I looked around and didn't settle for another $15. Dealing with a hand that would slip under the weight of the mic and the springs sticking out everywhere just sounds like an issue I don't want to deal with at all. If you think about this microphone hand, do it. I can only recommend that. They even added 2 small Velcro strips to secure the mic cable to your hand.
