Used to learn tie dye and I'm not overly impressed. First, because it's a paraffin blend, it smells and smokes. In order for it to melt well through the material, the temp needs to be 250, at that point there's a lot of smoke and smoke, and you need REALLY good ventilation. I found it crackled too much causing too much dye to seep through resulting in no real color remaining from the first color for more than two dye baths. I would put this down to beginners but after switching to pure beeswax I get nice clean lines, a nice crackle, no chemical smell/smoke and the digestion process seems to be going better.
