I chose this one because the feed needs to float to the top. So I wanted something to keep the feed in one part of the tank and not all over it. I can say it works very well, after a day or so the fish know where the food will be and they regularly check for the remains of the crowd when it is time to feed. They seem to love that even my bamboo shrimp are positioned just below to catch whatever swims down. All it is is a plastic ring with a foam float with a suction cup attached to the foam with a piece of plastic and the suction cup works fine, it doesn't float away. I have no problems with it, I recommend. The fish love it.
