Information to help you

I bought this set of cranks. And be honest with yourself. Seems pretty decent. First, it doesn't come with a non-drive side bearing pinch bolt. But you can buy it cheaply at Revain. It's 20mm. If you choose to. Whether you decide to replace the bottom bracket or need a new one. Most bottom brackets work like a long 24mm spindle. But this is where it gets difficult. If you decide to install a better bottom bracket, you will need to use the bottom bracket plastic cups that come with this set and insert them into the best bottom bracket. The remaining chainrings are completely removable. And yes, you can do it at a speed if you want. Chainrings are made of steel. And the crank bolts that attach to the crank on the non-drive side are also steel. Most old-style mountain bikes have a 68 body. So yeah, that weirdo said it would fit. If you are using a single sprocket, you are probably using a drive side shim and no non-drive side shims. If you use a triple crank. Two seals on the drive side and none on the non-drive side. I hope this information sums it up so everyone understands what they are getting.

Pros
  • Bottom bracket fits standard 68mm and 73mm shells
Cons
  • Not bad but...
